INTRODUCTION TO INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM ICS-100 ICS 100.HE, Introduction to the Incident Command System for Higher Education, introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and provides the foundation for higher level ICS training. This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of ICS. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS). This course uses the same objectives and content as other ICS courses with higher education examples and exercises.
ICS FOR SINGLE RESOURCES AND INTIAL ACTION INCIDENTS ICS-200 ICS 200 is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). ICS-200 provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS.
INTERMEDIATE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM ICS-300 This course covers organization and staffing, organizing for incidents and events, resource management, and air operation.
ADVANCED INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM ICS-400 This course expands upon the material covered in ICS 100 through ICS 300. ICS 400 focuses on large single-agency and complex multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional incident response. The course addresses area command and staff issues, as well as the planning, logistical and fiscal considerations associated with complex incident management and interagency coordination.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN/EVACUATION PROCEDURES This course is designed to prepare the participant to recognize emergency situations requiring evacuation and execute evacuation plans. Upon course completion, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the basic evacuation procedures within an Emergency Action Plan
-Develop a basic evacuation plan and effectively communicate that plan to the responding security personnel
-Recognize cause for evacuation and discuss appropriate responses required for various evacuation situations
-Discuss real-life scenarios and examine additional questions, beyond those asked in an Emergency Evacuation Plan Checklist that must be considered in emergency situations
